iPCSatelliteTV has reviewed several applications that claim to offer you free satellite TV on your PC.  These include top Pay-Per-View channels and top sporting events.

Most of these services and applications are scams.  There is NO WAY you can get a pay-per-view sporting event on your computer for free, regardless of what hype you read.

However, it IS POSSIBLE to view thousands of live streamed digital satellite TV programs on your computer or laptop, and that is what we will be showing you on iPCSatelliteTV.

Of the 35 applications we reviewed, we came across THREE that we liked and we will provide you with a review of each one.

Now BEFORE you buy any product please consider the following points:

1. You MUST use Microsoft Windows for PC.  These programs do not work for MAC or other operating systems yet.  They are developing other applications, but curently you need a Windows OS.

2. You MUST have a modern computer or laptop.  If your PC is over 3 or 4 years old, you may struggle to view the TV clearly.  I would recommend at least 500MB of RAM but ideally you want 1GIG of RAM minimum.  You also want a fast chip, especially if you are viewing on a laptop.  Luckily, you can try these programs out and if your PC specification is not suitable, you can ask for a refund.

3. Some of the channels you can get access contain adult material so if your computer is a family computer, please bear this in mind.  If you have children you will not want them to be able to view some of these adult channels which are quite graphic.

4. If you intend to save movies, sports games or TV episodes for example, to your hard drive, I strongly recommend you buy an external hard drive with plenty of capacity.  You will see so much TV you will not have enough time to watch it all, so you will want to record it to watch later.  I burn some movies to DVD and keep cartoons on my external USB drive for the kids to watch.
